mission

To keep you connected during the good, bad, and messy moments of life.

story

I started designing cards in 2017 after my husband Tommy’s cancer diagnosis. Inspired by our motto, "laughter is the best medicine," I wanted to create cards that could offer support, connection, and a little light to the cancer community. What began as a heartfelt project grew into Better + Co., expanding to include cards for all of life’s seasons. In 2021, that evolution led to Five Dot Post—a name rooted in love, resilience, and our journey together.

Our designs are relatable, funny, and just hit differently. We use high-quality materials that let your recipients know you care.

the meaning behind the name

When Tommy had his first radiation treatment in 2017, he received five tiny tattooed dots on his chest for the procedure. Wanting to share in his experience, I got five dots tattooed on my arm, a daily reminder that while Tommy was the one in treatment, we were in this fight together. When I started my second card shop, I wasn’t sure what it would become, but I knew I wanted it to be built on love, support, and meaningful connection. And so, Five Dot Post was born—a brand dedicated to helping people find the right words, no matter the moment.
